What the Office task pane can use
The add-in works inside Word, Excel, or PowerPoint, reads the current selection, and edits the open file. It uses the same Oppermind account and AI billing as the web workspace.

Install from a computer
Open Settings, Apps and extensions, then download the Office add-ins package. Register the catalog with the included Windows or macOS script, restart Office, and enable Oppermind from the add-ins controls.

✦On your computer, open Settings, Apps and extensions, click Download add-ins (.zip), unzip it, run the included Windows or macOS registration script, restart Word, then enable Oppermind from the add-ins controls.
What you getAfter the restart Word's Home tab shows an Oppermind button, and Excel and PowerPoint pick up the same catalog.
Open Oppermind in Office
Use Home, then the Oppermind ribbon button. Select the passage, range, or slide content that should ground the request before asking for a change.

Use Word and Excel deliberately
In Word, request focused writing and document edits. In Excel, ground analysis or changes in the selected range and verify data, formulas, formats, and downstream references.
