Control your PC from your phone or the web

Link a PC that runs Oppermind Desktop, watch its live screen, choose Watch or Take control, approve what Lato does, and read the audit log.

What remote access is

Once Oppermind Desktop is installed on a PC and computer control is on, that PC is reachable from any device you are signed in on: the web, your phone, another PC. Choose Desktop Co-pilot from the mode chip and the panel shows the linked PC and its live screen, with settings behind the gear. If the PC is off, the panel says the PC is offline and asks you to open Oppermind Desktop on it.

The co-pilot panel before a PC is linked.
Try this
✦On your phone: mode chip → Desktop Co-pilot.
What you getThe Desktop Co-pilot panel opens. With no PC linked yet, it asks you to install Oppermind Desktop on your PC and sign in, or offers Link a PC.

Link a PC

A PC signed in to the same account shows up by itself once you turn on computer control on it: Desktop settings, Computer control, the Any app on this computer switch, then Authorize. Link a PC gives a pairing code for a standalone agent, which you paste into its pairing window instead. Rename this PC gives it a friendly name, and Unlink disconnects it.

Link a PC: sign in on the PC, or pair a standalone agent with a code.
Try this
✦On the PC: Desktop settings → Computer control → Any app on this computer → Authorize. On the phone: mode chip → Desktop Co-pilot.
What you getThe panel connects to the PC by name and shows its screen.

Live screen: Watch or Take control

The panel streams the PC's screen: Start stream and Stop stream. The switch in the toolbar decides who uses the mouse and keyboard. Watch means Lato runs the task on its own while you watch. Take control means you use the mouse and keyboard yourself while Lato keeps working. Pause Lato, behind the gear, stops Lato until you turn it off, so only you control the PC.

Live screen with the Watch and Take control switch.
Try this
✦Start stream, choose Take control and click into the screen.
What you getYou see the PC live and can use it; switch back to Watch to leave the task to Lato.

Permissions and the audit log

Lato narrates what it is doing step by step in the chat. Before a consequential action it asks: Permission requested, with the action and a risk level, and Allow once or Deny. The audit log keeps every action and decision so you can read afterwards what happened on the PC and who allowed it.

A permission waiting for you in the chat.
Try this
✦Ask: Open our accounting desktop app, go to Reports, and export the August aged debtors report to my desktop.
What you getThe chat shows each step; a file_write permission asks before the export is saved; the audit log records the run.

Pause, stop and keep it deliberate

Control lives on the PC too. Under Computer control in Desktop settings, Pause keeps the link but stops Lato acting until you choose Resume, and switching off Any app on this computer turns computer control off entirely. Existing agent permissions govern what Lato can do; grant new ones only for the task in front of you. Start with reversible tasks and read the audit log before widening what Lato may touch.

Computer control in Desktop settings: the switch, with Pause beside it.
Try this
✦On the PC: Desktop settings → Computer control → Pause.
What you getThe panel on your phone says computer control is paused on this PC; the stream still works, and Lato does not act until you resume.
